Based on a late 70’s SC shell with steel turbo conversion, lightweight front & rear bumpers & lightweight engine cover. The engine is a later 3.2 from a low mileage Supersport, which has been completely rebuilt & modified, currently running PMO electronic fuel injection (EFI) throttle bodies, controlled by a Delta 400 ECU, currently pushing 260bhp. The car was completed in 2016 & has covered just over 2000 miles since the rebuild. The car benefits from a full turbo suspension set up with Bilstien shocks, Elephant Racing Polybronze bushes all round & a full turbo brake system. The gearbox is the classic 915 with oil cooler. A Turbo Thomas stainless exhaust has been fitted as well as SSI heat exchangers & front mounted oil cooler. The attention to detail in this build is exceptional with some lovely custom features such as the centre fuel filler & the period race inspired interior with light weight door cards & carpets, period bucket seats, half roll cage & Momo Prototipo steering wheel. The Compomotive split rims are shod in new Continental tyres all round. This car is running & driving absolutely perfectly & needs nothing. The 915 box offers positive gear changes & the engine pulls very nicely right through the rev range, producing a very addictive exhaust note.
Overall the car is very well set up & is an absolute blast to drive! A huge amount of work has gone into this build & you certainly could not build this car again now for the asking price. Must be seen to be appreciated.
