As crazy as a limousine-length supercar may sound, the Porsche Panamera deserves all the credit. The builders not only entered a completely new segment, but are also absolute frontrunners in this – despite various attempts by other car manufacturers. The fact that Porsche would like to keep it that way can be traced back to the looks of the 4-seater sports car, among other things. To be fair, the Panamera has only gotten better over the years. Equipped with a midnight blue metallic paintwork and 21-inch Platinum satin gloss SportDesign wheels with bright yellow brake calipers behind them, the original owner has found the perfect balance between timeless class and pure sportiness. A daring, striking, original and above all extremely fine mix! The fact that the design of the Porsche Panamera already makes a very balanced impression in principle, of course also helps. Tribute to Porsche!
Interior
The interior deserves just as deep a bow. The Cohibabraun Club leather gear is mouth-watering and tasteful. The whole exudes warmth and atmosphere. As if Porsche is shouting: welcome to the club. Luckily for us, the chic dark brown shade has really been applied to everything. With the exception of some aluminum details, black knobs and of course the beautiful carbon interior finish. The lightweight carbon fiber parts look high-tech, sporty and exclusive at the same time. So a bit like this whole Panamera Turbo is actually. The integrated Porsche crest in the headrests is ready to leave its mark on the back of your mind. Literally. Really, that’s how fast things can go in the Porsche family. You have been warned…
Options & extras
If you move quickly, you must also be able to stop quickly. That’s so safe. Thanks to the ceramic brakes on this example, the extreme deceleration is guaranteed, without fading occurring during a „hot lap“. An electrically operated panoramic sliding/tilting roof also makes ‚quiet‘ fresh air possible. Especially at these moments, the high-end Burmester audio system comes in handy. It just depends on what mood you’re in… Thanks to rear-axle steering, it’s no problem at all to change course quickly if you suddenly have other plans along the way.
Technique & performance
The 680 hp and 850 Nm strong hybrid drive will constantly tempt you to optimally operate that right pedal and let the 8-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch do its work. Thus, the 0-100 km/h sprint is already completed within 3.4 seconds. That is 0.4 seconds faster than the Turbo performs without a 100 kW electric motor. With a top speed of 310 km/h, the non-hybrid version also beats the Panamera Turbo S. The difference is ‚only‘ 4 km/h, but still: Porsche has made its point.
Meanwhile, average consumption and CO2 emissions plummet, while driving pleasure reaches a peak. The four-wheel drive Porsche Panamera is also not averse to corners: the amount of grip seems to come from another planet and with the steering rear axle, the Turbo S E-Hybrid is on rails. Who will take the first train to Nunspeet?
Sincerely, Prince Esclusivo.
