This Boxster spyder is in top condition and has always been maintained at our workshop.
The Spyder was delivered new from Porsche Zentrum Wurzburg in March 2011. In April 2013, the Spyder came to the Netherlands and was brought directly to us for its first service. Since then, it has been neatly maintained according to schedule, as evidenced by the 6 service intervals in the service booklet. Only 27,000 km have been driven with it for beautiful drives in nice weather only. Entirely in first paint and therefore absolutely damage-free.
Equipped with a beautiful specification in black and black. With, as it should be in this pure driver’s version, a manual gearbox with limited slip differential. Further equipped with many options in which the most important are to mention: Sports seats a switchable sports exhaust system. 3-spoke sports steering wheel, Dynamic Bi-Xenon lighting, various interior parts painted in vehicle colour and fully automatic air conditioning.
The Porsche Boxster was first introduced in 1996 as an affordable entry-level model for the brand. It was intended to continue the tradition of the legendary Porsche 550 Spyder. In late 2009, the second generation of the Boxster, known as the Porsche Boxster 987, got a special variant called the ‚Spyder‘. This model was intended to emphasise pure driving pleasure and offered a number of unique features over the standard Boxster.
One of the most striking features of the 987 Spyder is its lightweight design. By using lightweight materials such as aluminium and carbon fibre, Porsche managed to significantly reduce the car’s weight compared to other models in the same class. This allowed the car to accelerate even faster and perform better in corners.
In addition, the Porsche Boxster 987 Spyder has a unique appearance with a lower windscreen, special side panels and a fixed spoiler. These elements gave the car a more aggressive look and also improved aerodynamics. The interior of the Spyder was minimalist and focused on providing a pure driving experience, without unnecessary frills. For instance, the doors have a cord to open instead of a (heavy) lever. The roof is just a kind of tent that cannot withstand high speeds. Porsche recommends not driving above 200 km/h with the roof closed to avoid distortion.
