Porsche 997 Speedster – Rare and stylish finaleThe Porsche 997 Speedster, launched in 2010, is a tribute to the classic Speedsters of the past, such as the legendary 356 Speedster. It was built to mark Porsche Exclusive’s 25th anniversary and represents one of the rarest variants within the 997 generation.

Key features:
Limited edition: Only 356 units worldwide, a nod to the 356 from the 1950s.

Unique bodywork: Lower and more sloping windshield, wider rear end (like the 997 Carrera 4), and the typical “double bubble” behind the seats – a signature of Speedster models.

Equipment: Based on the 997.2 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, so equipped with the 3.8-liter atmospheric six-cylinder with 408 hp, mated to the PDK automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Luxury and details: very richly equipped as standard with Porsche Exclusive details, sports exhaust, ceramic brakes (PCCB), and a fully leather-clad interior with unique Speedster accents.

Although built as a tribute, the 997 Speedster is more luxury cruiser than track monster. It combines performance with exclusivity and style – a driving collectible with a nod to the past.
