Das Fahrzeug im Detail

With an astonishingly rare color specification, the last 911 Turbo series to be outfitted with a manual, and a body that’s considered to be the last of the „just-right“ 911s, this highly-exclusive example is what dreams are made of! Let’s put into perspective how rare this particular example is, with a model year that started in 2010 and concluded in 2013, only 488 997.2 N.A market Turbos were equipped with a manual transmission. Out of those 488 units, only 35 were factory finished in GT Silver. Out of the 35, this unit was the only one optioned with the Terracotta Leather interior….the ONLY N.A DESIGNATED ONE! How amazing is this?! This 997.2 Turbo is beyond exceptional and will be rather difficult to come by should you be the person that allows it to slip away!

The 997.2 Turbo’s Notoriety: Its model year denotes the very last of the 6-speed manual-equipped 911 Turbo with the following model year signaling the end of the manual-operated 911 Turbo. The 991 Turbo’s transmission offering was only limited to PDK and the upcoming 992 Turbo will 99.9% follow this formula as well. Not only are its successors lacking a manual transmission, but the 991s and 992 911s lack the preferable sizing that this example offers as it’s really the last of the svelte-shaped and „right-sized“ Turbos that are inline to the original 911 Turbo’s (930) design philosophy.

With an original MSRP of $157,400, this spectacular Turbo coupe was specified with the following factory ordered options:

The Aesthetics: Upon viewing this 911 Turbo coupe, your presence is welcomed by its scintillating GT Silver Metallic finish that plays against the interior’s Terracotta theme ever so beautifully; the signature wide rear width accentuated by integrated intakes; 19-Inch Turbo II wheels (showcased in front of red brake calipers with white „Porsche“ script) with each center crest in color; Bi-Xenon headlights with PDLS; an automatically deploying spoiler; front bumper integrated LED daytime running lights; with dual tailpipes completing the exterior.

Inside: When entering the cabin, your occupancy is acknowledged by entry guards that feature illuminated „turbo“ insignia, displayed against the carbon fiber inlays; a Terrocota Leather interior; light-color stitching throughout; and the optioned carbon fiber trim on select areas. The driver is faced with a heated and carbon-fiber wrapped 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel; instrumentation clusters and the dashboarded mounted Sport Chrono dial in Guards Red; a centrally located, 6.5-inch touch-screen display unit; and the 6-speed manual transmission. Front occupants are embraced by the heated Comfort Seats (featuring perforations and light-colored stitching). The cabin’s audio experience is provided by the standard, 13-Speaker, BOSE Surround Sound System.

Performance: The all-wheel-drive Turbo is powered by a rear-mounted and twin-turbocharged, 3.8L DFI flat-six engine, providing a forceful 500-hp and 480 ft-lbs of torque (torque can be briefly increased up to 516 lb-ft by way of the utilizing the optioned Sport Chrono) with performance figures of 0-60 in an estimated 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 194 mph.
