The car was originally destined for the US market and delivered to Houston where it was maintained by Porsche. Around 2019, the car came to Europe and was registered in France. Overall the car presents well, aside from some normal chipping as to be expected on a sportscar. Our paint measurements show no signs of repaint – of course the front and rear bumper are painted when it was converted to ROW specifications.. Paint gloss and depth is even throughout.
The interior is hard to fault as it’s bombproof as any 911 and it’s comfortable too, with supportive full electric seats and one of the best driving positions. It even offers four-up motoring, although the rear seat is best occupied by pre-teen children rather than fully fledged adults. The grey full leather interior is elegant and sporty with meticulous attention to detail throughout. From factory the car was equipped with the striking wood centre console but we can see this has been replaced by an example painted in silver.
The dashboard features a prominent speedometer, with the optional and much loved sports chrono on top. Other interior features include aluminium pedals, heated and ventilated seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The six-cylinder 3.8-litre engine in the 911 Carrera 4S is commonly referred to as a „flat-six“ or „boxer“ engine. It is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission known as Porsche’s PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung). The PDK transmission offers lightning-fast gear changes and smooth operation, contributing to the car’s sporty and engaging driving experience. The naturally aspirated, high revving engine is capable of producing an impressive 385 horsepower. The lovel ‘S’ engine mated with the sports exhausts offers us the lovely flat 6 rasp at the touch of the pedal.
Like all modern Porsches, the 997 is easy to drive and to live with. On the road, this motor brings liveliness, handling confidence and massively powerful brakes. These common features make this car a very attractive package, especially when it comes with a low mileage and many of the key desirable factory options.
The car comes with a full service history with books (stamped) and some recent invoices as well as technical inspections.
This car is sold on behalf of a client an currently has French registration.
