Originally ordered in Spain by a Mexican collector desiring a European-spec GT3, the car was imported to Mexico and remained in his private collection until 2016. During this period, various documents are available showing the history of the car; MOT reports, insurance, and registration documents preserved. In 2016, the vehicle was acquired by the owner of a Porsche Centre, who has maintained it since.‍

Equipped with a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 360 PS (355 hp), the 996.1 GT3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 302 km/h (188 mph).
