The Aerokit Cup was a special set-up that’s already quite rare in itself, produced at the time for Porsche by the French company Turnwald, a look who anticipated by months what would become the aesthetic style of the first GT3. So much Porsche A.G. prepared some examples of 996 3.4 liters as Press, Marketing and/or Show car for the launch of the GT3, subsequently marketed only from the end of 1999.
This example reports the „1001010“ as Dealer code, a numbering that indicates a car for internal use at Porsche A.G. Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, in fact as First Owner it always appears Porsche A.G. Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, from February 1998 to June 1999. At the end of this period this 911 has benn sold to the first private user.
In addition to aesthetics, there is also a lot of substance. Mechanically and cycling-wise all the extras are present to enhance the pleasure of driving: Self-Locking Differential 220, Sport Chassis option 030, Sport Option Pack 014, 6 Speed Manual Transmission, 18″ „Sport Design“ GT3 Rims, ASR 222, electronic brake force distribution 224, P70 Pack with „Sport Design“ interiors with Turbo seats and to fully enjoy analog driving… cable accelerator, one of the last 911!
