And even if they succeeded with a timeless advertisement, the car in question is even more iconic. The 993 Turbo is the ultimate iteration of an air-cooled Porsche and a car that for many represents Porsche at its very best. When the car was launched in 1995, it was a creation without precedent. 408hp in its basic version but as here with the coveted WLS package 450hp, four-wheel drive and 0-100 in 4.5 seconds were the big selling points, but it was the combination with Porsche’s reliability and ease of use that made the car completely unique in the market.
