Due to the PTS order the car was a very late delivery in february 1997.
First the car was registered in the name of the Porsche Center Limburg due to territorial sales restriction in the Porsche sales system and area protection regulations in this years. The car was driven by the bavarian business man from day one and later transferred in his name.
After the car stayed with its first owner in germany for 3 years it was sold to a german car dealer and from him to a gentleman is sweden who kept the car for several years until 2005.
Thomas J. Schmitz helped a friend from germany to buy this particular car is sweden in the summer of 2005 via his good contacts to Porsche Club Sweden and Porsche K3 in Stockholm. The car only stayed 6 month in the friends car collection and was finally sold again by Thomas J. Schmitz into another german collection in Frankfurt where it remained until 2007.
2007 the vehicle was sold again via Thomas J. Schmitz across the border to the Netherlands where a dutch doctor had the car in his collection from 2007 until 2024 ! 17 years the car in this little dutch car collection but now out is back at Thomas J. Schmitz and available again.
It is a genuine 993 RS free of any kind of accidents, with all matching panels, matching number engine & gearbox in totally original specification – apart from the spoiler kit that was swapped from big RSR spoiler kit to small RS spoiler kit but the big RSR kit is still present and comes with the car as well. All the special optioned ordered from new are still original on the car. ( see list below )
The owners history as well as the service history of this car is very very well documented in a big ring binder with lots of invoices, receipts and other documents beside all original books and the original service booklet.
The total milage is now 84.442 km of which mot of the km where done by the first and the second owner. All the following owners where collectors and drove the car extremely little.
The car benefits from constant services and a full engine rebuild by Porsche Center “K 3 Stockholm” for the second owner at 72.447 km. Since the car has done just 12 k km and it runs as sweet & powerful as it could.
After the 17 years in the dutch collection with extremely little km driven and mainly only stationary in storage, TJS gave the car to Porsche Center Münster for a very big servcice and additional work after all these years in hibernation. 15.500 euro where spend at Porsche, 3.744 for a full restoration of the Speedline wheels, a 1 k for new Michelin tires and on top 1 k for a new windscreen. The car was dry ice cleaned underneath, fully detailed and finally got a new clear protection film for the full front end of the car, both door mirrors as well as critical areas on the rear quarter panels and the edges of the rear bumper.
Conditions are absolutely outstanding and inside.
Beside the “birth certificate” from Porsche we can provide a full option list from Porsche, paint meter reports, pictures of the car from 2005, 2006, 2007, 2019, 2023 and finally 2024 as well as TÜV /RDM / MOT reports and service invoices as well as old registration documents.
