So, here is the 993 Coupe that everyone hopes to find, finished in Polar silver with black leather interior, it has the perfect spec with hardback sports seats, rear wiper, air conditioning, top tint windscreen and electric sunroof. It has covered only 36:000 miles in the hands of three owners and has a perfect Porsche service history.

This special 993 was supplied when new by Merlin Cambria, the Porsche main dealer for Cardiff on the 1st of August 1995 as confirmed in the first of two Porsche service books which accompany the car. Two years later in June 1997 the car passed to the second London-based owner via the supplying dealer who went on to own and cherish the 993 until last year.

When we say cherish, we certainly mean it, rarely does one see such attention to maintenance, especially in a low mileage example. Here is the service history as shown by stamps in the service book and detailed in every invoice on file which shows that any item requiring attention was dealt with. This fastidious owner was not one for the simple oil change to get a stamp in the book, this is best shown in the last invoice for 2021 amounting to £16,000 which included a full service, new clutch, full geometry check and engine rebuild to cure oil leaks.

This has to be the best main dealer Porsche history I’ve seen for a 993, with just the gap in 2020 presumably explained by the Covid pandemic.

As one might imagine, the 993 presents in superb order throughout and drives beautifully and very thing works as it should. It comes with all keys, tools, original full book pack with the two service books referred to above and an extensive history file with all invoicing and MOT certificates.
