Even if all Porsche 911s are currently turbocharged, the return of the turbo version to the catalog continues to find its legitimacy in a higher level of performance.
Once again, this is the case with a hot 992 Turbo S!
Available as a coupé and cabriolet, the new 911 Turbo S boasts a reworked design compared to a Carrera 4S: a more aggressive front bumper, large air intakes in the rear fenders and, above the engine, the indissociable spoiler. Although the days of large pie shovels are thankfully over, the Turbo S can count on this retractable appendage to add up to 100 kg of support at 330 km/h. The new Porsche 992 Turbo S finally gets 4 square tailpipes.
Porsche wanted to make the interior of the new 911 Turbo S specific, with a special stitching pattern that pays homage to the original 930 Turbo. The GT sports steering wheel and

At the same time, width and weight have increased. And to keep up with the times, the engine manufacturers have turned up the heat! The new Turbo S is based on the new six-cylinder engine of the 992 Carrera. Displacement has been increased to 3.8 liters, as on the previous generation, and it retains two variable-geometry turbos. These are larger, however.
Without going into further detail, the result is 650 hp and 800 Nm of torque! The eight-speed PDK gearbox was imposed to channel all this power to the all-wheel drive, which catapults the
Turbo S from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 in 8.9 seconds!
The all-wheel drive system features center and rear limited-slip differentials, while the standard active suspension is combined with rear-wheel steering as standard. As with the 992 Carrera, Porsche has opted for an asymmetrical wheel set, with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear. Alloy wheels with central locking are also fitted as standard.
