Introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013, 1,963 examples of the Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition were built for the 2014 model year to celebrate half a century of 911 production. The model features a number of classic touches including green instrument dials, 20-inch Fuchs-style wheels, and chrome strips on the engine cover and front grills.
Additionally, Porsche Active Suspension Management and Porsche Torque Vectoring were fitted as standard. The example on offer, serial number 711, was completed November 2013 and features an extensive list of options which further increase the desirability and luxury of this limited-production model.
The exterior is finished in Geyser Grey Metallic paint over an Agate Grey/Geyser Grey interior with houndstooth cloth seat inserts. Driver’s inputs are fed through aluminum pedals, a SportDesign steering wheel, and a seven-speed manual transmission while seated in power 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus. The exterior features Porsche Dynamic Lighting System headlights, Porsche Ceramic Composite brakes, an aluminum-look fuel cap, a glass sunroof, and painted headlight washers. Convenience options include ParkAssist, power steering plus, automatic dimming mirrors, and a rear wiper. Lastly, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control actively manages body roll and reduces lateral movement while cornering.
Purchased new by the White Collection, just 23 miles show on the odometer at the time of cataloging. As such, the totality of this 911 presents in factory-fresh condition, and each month the car has been started to ensure proper function of the various systems. Owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and correspondence from Porsche detailing the build will accompany the car upon purchase.
