The original exterior paint is in outstanding condition, and the body panels are entirely free of damage, dents, scuffs, scratches, or dings. The Porsche factory’s paint-application processes, as demonstrated here, are unmatched. (Be sure to view closeup images in the photo gallery to see the condition of the paint surface.) Even mirror caps and lower-body trim are in near-perfect condition. Red-painted Porsche-branded brake calipers, as well as cross-drilled and ventilated brake rotors, show nicely through the open-wheel design. Headlight lenses show no sign of road rash or other damage; tinted cabin glass and all other lighting lenses (including lenses on the LED taillights) are free of flaws. The 20-inch wheels are mounted with Pirelli® Z-rated tires.
The car’s paint finish is exceptional across every pane. The condition is virtually “as new.” The Agate Grey Metallic color choice beautifully highlights the flowing design, especially so across the hood, rear fenders, and speed-deployed spoiler.
Inside, the like-new condition continues. Leather seating surfaces and door panels show virtually no wear. Lower-door step-over sills are free of scratches (an indicator of fastidious owner care). Every control surface across the dashboard and console is like-new, and every graphic marking is crisp and unworn. Instrument lenses are clear; lighted instruments, including the digital driver-information system, are fully functional. There are no wear indications on the shifter for the dual-clutch automated PDK transmission (for Porsche Doppel Kupplungsgetreibe.) The 7-speed PDK offers the dual benefits of ease of use in urban driving with performance-shifting faster than is possible with a manual transmission. It is now the preferred transmission for enthusiasts. Black cabin carpeting is protected by Porsche-logo-embroidered carpet mats. The GT Sport steering wheel is free of significant wear and the Porsche crest center emblem shows its original colors and condition. (Please view the close-up photography in the gallery to assess the condition of the Porsche’s various interior surfaces.) The car’s leather document packet and full complement of original owner literature and the original manufacturer’s window sticker are included in the sale.
Under the rear deck, the surfaces on the twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve, 3-liter, flat-6 engine (capable of delivering 370 horsepower) are perfectly clean, complete, undamaged, and unmodified. The rated top-speed for this engine is 183 mph. Viewed from below, the car’s chassis is free of noteworthy damage and complete with all underbody panels properly in place. (To best appraise the condition of the engine and undercarriage surfaces, please review the gallery photos shot from below.)
