Das Fahrzeug im Detail

This just arrived Porsche 991 is, in our opinion, the most beautiful type of 911 of recent years. The 991 still shows the beautiful basic line for which the 911 is so known and loved. On the later versions, the abundance of spoilers and diffusers detracts from the design. It’s all a bit too much, or as the Germans say: zuviel. At least that is our opinon.

That is why we are very happy with this 991 3.0 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, registered in March 2018, coming from the first owner and only 34.442 km on the clock. We can say that the car is in a like new condition and, as you would expect, has been properly maintained on time by the dealer who also delivered the car. The last major maintenance (€ 2.915) was carried out on June 20th, 2023 at a mileage of 27.990 km.

Well… what can we say about an almost new car? First paint, no dents or scratches, an interior that is indistinguishable from new, and all the options that the demanding owner can tick. Just take a look at the long list in the options & accessories column. The first owner even had a suitcase set custom made to take full advantage of the storage space. So we are talking about a real enthusiast’s car that has only been used as an “hobby” car.

The choice of a true “old school” Porsche enthusiast is also reflected in the choice of the 2-wheel drive version. The 4WD is of course fine, but the driver who really wants to experience what a rear-wheel drive and pure Porsche does, goes for the more experience-providing 2-WD. Again, that’s our opinion. But it’s not about us, it’s about you! You must have a wish list with this car at the top. And if you had been the orderer of this 911 at the time, you would have ordered the same options. What about the fantastic interior in the bi-color version burgundy-black? A perfect choice that forms a nice contrast with the abundant aluminum accents. Cool 20 inch wheels, 90 liter tank inside, because we don’t want to stop too often of course. A multifunctional steering wheel, park assistant front and rear, because we sit nice and deep in the car and often overlook those annoying little posts and stones. In short, the list of options is long and is exactly what you are looking for.

We could fill many pages about how good the car drives, but of course we won’t. You have probably already read many tests on the Internet and in car magazines and dreamed of being the owner of such a great car. However, a few “performance facts” are good to know of.  A major advantage of turbo engines is that extra horsepower can easily be obtained by increasing the turbo pressure. The Porsche Exclusive power kit provides a modest power gain of 30 hp, but Porsche did not choose the easiest way to achieve this. In addition to the Sport Chrono package, dynamic engine mounts and a sports exhaust, the power kit also includes other turbos. The total performance is 450 hp at 6500 rpm and the maximum torque is 550 Nm at 2150 rpm. It ensures that the GTS is considerably faster than the 911 Carrera S. All GTSs sprint to 100 km/h 0.2 seconds faster and they all reach a top speed of more than 300 km/h.

It will not surprise you that the chassis of the 911 GTS is also very good. The rear axle in particular has received a whole list of upgrades that ensure even more grip. All GTS versions have the wider rear (1.85m) and larger track width that is normally reserved for four-wheel drive vehicles. The 20″ rims are also half an inch wider than on the Carrera S. Add to this the computer-controlled Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and, for the first time, rear-wheel steering on a “regular” 911. the rear of the 911 moves when turning in is fantastic, the rear follows the front in a much more natural way. The fact that the mass of the engine presses on the rear wheels is something that can only be explained positively in this generation of 911. Thanks to the enormous grip, the 911 can catapult out of corners like it was nothing.

By purchasing this beautiful Porsche 911 3.0 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, you are not only choosing a car with stunning performance, but you can also enjoy the luxury and open-top driving. All this wrapped in a timeless and immaculate bodywork. What more could you wish for as a car enthusiast? Perhaps a reliable address to buy your dream car? We hope that you have found it here too and look forward to welcoming you.
