The Porsche 911 is iconic, full of character, sporty and very recognizable. However popular it may be, a gray mouse will never become the model. Not even when the bodywork is painted Agate Gray… In fact, it does justice to the timeless signature! The 991.2 is in itself such a dynamic appearance, that a striking paint could become excessive. Now the Porsche retains its elegance; unique for a sports car pur sang.
Very well chosen are also the black wheels and ditto inscriptions on the back of the hood. It adds a bold touch to the balanced looks. Literally. Original SportDesign exterior mirrors in turn emphasize the power of modern aerodynamics and offer additional distinction. And beauty!
Interior
The interior was decorated with the same sense of style. The 911 Carrera 4S has a basic black leather interior. Nothing exceptional so far. However, it is again the small details that make a big difference: Alcantara center panels on the seats, Porsche emblems in the headrests, a steering column covered in leather and aluminum sill trims provide the ultimate finishing touch.
The Adaptive Sports seats Plus keep driver and passenger in perfect grip, although the driver’s side is clearly preferred; if only because of the view of the ultra-beautiful GT Sports steering wheel. The Aluminum interior package stylishly breaks through the predominantly black leather / Alcantara Porsche interior and offers the necessary contrast on board the 991 Carrera 4S. Nice.
Options & extras
At least as “nice” is the further equipment of the Porsche 991: seat and steering wheel heating, Light Design package, Sport Chrono, a camera, Bose Surround and DAB make life very comfortable in this genuine sports car. But not too comfortable, provided you exchange the great sounds of Bose from time to time for the impressive melodies from the original Porsche sports exhaust from the factory …
Technology & performance
Fair is fair: the 420 hp that this 6-cylinder boxer engine coughs up should also be heard. We do not have any complaints about the fact that the double turbo (since the facelift) would dampen the characteristic sound of the Porsche Carrera 4S. In any case, there is nothing to complain about when you see the maximum power and torque increase by 20 hp and 60 Nm (in total 500!) Respectively compared to the non-turbo 991. Let alone the improved top speed of 303 km / h and sprint time (0-100 km / h within 4 seconds) come into view! The standard four-wheel drive of this 911 Carrera S adds a gigantic mountain of grip. Whether you are going to use that Sport Chrono clock on the dashboard a lot? What do you think? Kind
