Introduced in 1990, the 964 Turbo featured widened bodywork when compared to the standard 964 as well as aerodynamic side mirrors and a fixed rear spoiler. This example is said to be one of only two 964 Turbo models finished in dark blue paint to sample over blue leather, and it features a power sunroof, fog lights, a rear-window wiper, and a fixed rear spoiler.
The 18″ Speedline wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The Turbo features uprated brakes compared to the standard 964, including larger calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner.
The cabin is upholstered in blue leather seats and was also specified with sport seats. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, a Becker cassette radio and power windows.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline as well as a 300-km/h speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 73k kilometers (~45k miles).
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential.
Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information:
