A stripped-out interior without power windows, rear seats, air conditioning, cruise control, sound deadening or a stereo system (optionally fitted) and new racing-bucket front seats were part of the package. The bonnet was made of aluminum, the chassis was seam welded and sound deadening was deleted. Wheels were made of magnesium and the glass was thinner in the doors and rear window. The Carrera RS is approximately 155 kg lighter than the Carrera 2 model.
This all makes the 964 RS a pure driving machine with incredible sounds! Old enough to feel the heritage of the legendary 1973 Carrera RS and modern enough to drive it fast!
This beautiful copy was delivered new on February 14, 1992 by Autosdiffusion M. Losh in Howald, Luxembourg with the rare Amethyst exterior color. No options were ordered on this car, as it should be for an RS. In August 2002 the first owner sold the car through the dealer where he bought the car new to the second owner, a Frenchman. The car then had 34,200 km. The second owner imported the car to France where the „Carrera RS“ decals, typically for the French importer, were applied to the sides. After keeping the car for 8 years, the second owner sold the car to the third owner at 59,918km. The third owner was also French. In 2012 the car was sold at 60,831km to the fourth owner, a Belgian.
Today the car has 63,348km on the clock. His paint is still the original factory paint with the exception of the left rear wing and is in an incredible condition!
The car comes with the original user manuals and service booklets in their leather case, the original tool roll, jack and many maintenance invoices.
Due to its color scheme and unrestored condition, this RS is a great opportunity!
