The Grand Prix White 1994 Porsche 911 Speedster offered here is one of only 469 allocated to the United States. It completed production on 29 June 1993 and was sold to its first owner through the Porsche dealer in Scottsdale, Arizona.
As shown on the original window sticker on file, this open-top 911 features several options including Grand Prix White 17-inch Cup wheels and caps, a four-speaker radio, cruise control, a five-speed manual transmission, and air conditioning with full climate control. The largely black interior is neatly contrasted with white leather gauge cluster backing, a white leather shift boot, and white door handles. Additionally, white-backed RS seats feature grey gradient seat inserts to complete the de-saturated aesthetic.
This example is believed to have been under the care of its original owner until 2011, when it was bought by the White Collection. Increasingly the desirability of this rare automobile, just 921 miles appear on the odometer at the time of cataloguing, and the numbers-matching flat-six-cylinder engine can be found under the decklid. Across the body, paint depth indicates a high level of originality, consistent with its low mileage, limited usage, and history of scrupulous care.
Several invoices are on file and show a fluid change and inspection were performed by a Porsche dealer in Nebraska in 2011. More recently, in 2016, new bumper seals were installed. During this Speedster’s time within the collection, the engine was started at monthly intervals to ensure good mechanical order. The car will be accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, original window sticker and owner’s books, tools, and a document binder.
Among the rarest Type 964 variants in existence, the exceptionally low-mileage 1994 Porsche 911 Speedster on offer stands above other examples thanks to its showroom-new-like condition. A stylish color scheme, matching-numbers engine, and raw driving experience only further sweeten the deal.
