During the first years, the 964 was used almost daily. The owner cherished his car, as evidenced by the well-kept service book.
In April 2014, with 87,711 miles on the odometer, the car crossed the ocean to Germany. There, the engine was completely disassembled, checked and fitted with new seals after an oil leak. This procedure is documented with invoices and a set of photos. The car was only used sporadically after this.
The last – Belgian – owner bought the car in the summer of 2018 (89,300 miles). He had the odometer changed from miles to kilometres, starting at 88,449 km.
Since then, this stunning 964 Targa has been driven a mere 145,000 km (in total) and is still in superb condition! The interior looks impeccable and 80% of the paint is original. Only the front bumper, the boot deck lid and the engine lid were repainted due to stone chip damage. The original decals were kept.
The engine is leak-free, rotates nicely and shifts seamlessly. Finally, the steering is super sharp!
