As many of you know, when the Targa was introduced on the F-model, it was the only open 911 that was available. Later on, in the last year of the SC, Porsche introduced the Cabriolet. The demand for the Targa remained though. In particular since it is a very usable way of driving without a fixed roof and you’re less exposed than in a Cabriolet. The classic looks of the Targa disappeared initially on the 993 and returned on the 991.
This desirable example was originally delivered in Germany and brought to the Netherlands in the late 90’s. It stayed with one owner who maintained this beauty himself, until it was bought by a collector in February 2019. That collector brought the car back to almost new condition by having it repainted (paint was getting tired, no accidents) and a big service and engine overhaul by an official Porsche Classic Dealer. (details available – close to 50k euros). With the original flat mirrors and Design 90 wheels, great classic look!
