Das Fahrzeug im Detail

This 914/6 was delivered to the San Francisco Porsche dealership in July 1970. One of only 3332 ‘six cylinder’ cars produced spending its 1st 30yrs of life in the sunshine states of California & Arizona before being shipped over to the UK in 1999 where it underwent a bare metal respray. Present ownership since 2014 participating in the 2015 Porsche 914 International hosted in Bavaria.  2015 saw a spell  with Roger Bray (356/914 Specialist) to restore the body & paintwork up to Concours Standard …. During the last 9 years the car has had a charmed life attending Porsche events and shows.

This 914/6 is a multiple Concours Winner including the prestigious 2019 Antwerp Concours  1st in Class, PCGB National Concours Runner Up 2017 /2019, Stanford Hall several Class Wins  + Overall Best in Show 2024

The car has been maintained mechanically to the same ‘high level’

2024 maintenance – New Clutch fitted,                                  Engine out Oil Leak rectification (Dry Engine)  Full Service Oil / Filters / Plugs / Points by Air-Cooled Specialist. The opportunity was taken to improve long term reliability retro-fitting the ‘Hydraulic Timing Chain Tensioner’ Modification ( not fitted to early 911 engines ).     2 large folders one containing history and receipts a 2nd folder containing all the Concours Show history.
