History:

In 1963 Porsche brought the successor of the 356 on the market. At that time still with type designation 901, but soon this should change to 911. This created the most iconic sports car model ever in history.
Throughout the years several generations would emerge. The first series was delivered with a 2.0L strong 6 cylinder, good for about 130 HP. Soon this would increase to a 2.2L to end with a 2.4L engine, good for 190 HP in the S-model.

The 2nd generation – known by connoisseurs as the ‚G-model‘ – was available from 1974 and was equipped with a 2.7L.
In the same year Porsche also introduced the world’s first series sports car with an exhaust gas turbocharger, the 911 Turbo was born. The 3.0L strong 6-cylinder was good for no less than 260hp. Later this would increase to a 3300CC and 300 HP.
