1970 Porsche 911 T
For 1970, the 911 was introduced with a larger cylinder bore giving a capacity of 2,195cc, producing 125bhp and badged as a ‘T’ at this power output. Alterations to suspension pick-up points improved the handling and gave a little more steering feel and 6” Fuchs ‘five-leaf’ forged alloys were now a standard fit.
Offered here is a really impressive left-hand drive 911T Targa that was first delivered on 18th September 1970 by Porsche California, Los Angeles finished in Silber Metallic (8010) with a black (16) leatherette interior. Extra options on the new delivered car were : alloy rims 6J x 15” – comfort pack – airconditioning & tinted windows.
The car remained in the US until 1991 when it was imported to the Netherlands but were it stayed in hands of two careful owners. The car is also coming with the “Porsche Geburtsurkunde” delivered by Porsche Classic Center Gelderland in March 2022.
