This 1980 model SC is finished in its original Guards Red over Black color combo. Options fitted include air Conditioning, heated rear window, electric adjustable side mirrors, power windows, 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels, Blaupunkt cassette radio with a power antenna, fog lamps, 3-spoke leather steering wheel, and partial leather seating. The headlamps were upgraded with period accesory Marchal H4s early on and are free of any chips. This car has a mere 48,000 miles from new and has been lovingly cared for its entire life. The paint is in excellent condition as is all rubber trim and the car retains all of the original glass. The targa top is also in excellent condition including the seals both on the body and the top itself. The interior is like new aside from some very minor wear to the driver seat bolster. The Michelin tires are in great shape with like new tread and date coded 2016. Recent service includes a valve adjustment, valve cover reseal, new Bosch battery, and an oil line replaced. A compression and leak down test was performed in Dec 2021 and all cylinders were 200psi with leak down in a range of 3-8%. The car is 100% stock and unmodified and retains all original smog equipment. All gauges function as designed, all electrics work correctly. The air conditioning is still R12 but will need a recharge in order to blow cold. All paintwork has been measured and is believed to be original with the exception of the right rear fender which reads higher. The paint quality and shade is to factory standard and cannot be detected by the naked eye. There are no hard masking lines in the door jam or rear engine lid jam. This is an excellent example of the popular 911SC and would be a worthy addition to any collection.
Included with the car are owner’s manuals with folio, service receipts, original sales brochure, spare wheel, jack, tool roll, air compressor, and newly fitted Porsche scripted floor mats.
