„Collection by Vermant“ is pleased to be able to offer you this Porsche 911 ‚Super Carrera‘ convertible from February 1983. This is a copy of the so-called ‚G-model‘, equipped with its ‚matching numbers‘ 3L strong 6-cylinder with 204HP. The transmission is ensured by a perfectly shifting gearbox of the type 915.
The car was delivered new on February 4, 1983 in Italy and is executed in ‚Grandprix weiss‘ with a black leather interior. It was fitted with a factory alarm, tinted windows and a stronger battery.
A few years ago another tripmaster was installed in the 911. This makes this SC ideal for participating in tourist old-timer events.

In the meantime this beautiful convertible has run 160,000 km’s and the car is still in very nice and correct condition. The car recently enjoyed major maintenance in its own workshop.

In 1963, Porsche introduced the successor to the 356. Back then with type designation 901, but soon this would change to 911. This is how the most iconic sports car model ever was created.
Over the years, several generations of 911 would arise. The first series was delivered with a 2.0L strong 6 cylinder, good for around 130 HP. Soon this would increase to a 2.2L to end with a 2.4L engine, good for 190HP in the S model.

The 2nd generation – also known as the ‚G-model‘ – was available from model year 1974 and was equipped with a 2.7L engine that would rise to a 3L. This increased the power to 204hp from 1978. The car was available as both Coupé and Targa, but in 1983 the ‚Super Carrera‘ would also be available for 1 year in a full convertible version.
