This 911S was a special order placed by Dr. Hahn through the European Tourist Delivery Program. Dr. Hahn traveled to Germany to drive the 911S and tour the Porsche facility in Stuttgart. The maintenance record booklet shows that the 911S was then delivered to Dr. Hahn by Cronins Porsche | Audi in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 19, 1973. After a few years of ownership, Dr. Hahn sold the 911S to Mr. Toland in the late 1970s. In 1992, Mr. Toland sold the 911S to Mr. Trivett in a handwritten letter. During Mr. Trivett’s ownership, the engine and transmission underwent a complete rebuild in 2007, carried out by Air Cooled Classics in Knoxville, Tennessee. The 911S then changed hands to Mr. Hussey in 2017, Mr. Schneiderman in 2019, and finally to its sixth owner in 2020. Mr. Schneiderman had a full bare metal repaint done in the original exterior color of Silver Metallic (925). In 2023, the interior was re-upholstered in wine-red leather. The air conditioning system was completely redone, with specific components replaced to improve efficiency, including a rotary compressor, new condensers, and all new soft lines. In addition, the engine bay was detailed, the engine sheet metal was powder-coated, and the hardware was CAD-plated. Recently, the vehicle received the following replacement parts: front wheel bearings, rubber seals, new Sekurit tinted windshield, new dash, carpeting, distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, ignition points, rear axles, valve covers, SSI heat exchangers, and upgraded „Carrera“ oil-fed chain tensioners.
The Silver Metallic paintwork is impeccable, with excellent gaps and panel fit. The exterior has a factory Electric Sunroof, Hella fog lights, European H4 Bosch headlight, pop-out rear quarter windows, and aluminum trim around the wheel arches. The upholstery is in remarkable condition and was recently installed, featuring wine-red leather contrasted against black carpets. Interior equipment includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a deluxe butterfly horn ring, VDO instrumentation, factory air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. The wheels are 15″ x 6″ Fuchs alloy wheels with Porsche-crest center caps. The undercarriage received a complete dry-ice detailing and is in excellent condition. The floor pans and front suspension are original, solid, and rust-free.
It is mechanically powered by a numbers-matching driveline with a 2.4-liter MFI flat-six-cylinder engine, manual 5-speed transmission (Type 915), and four-wheel disc brakes. Complete with an original tool kit, owner’s manual, Blaupunkt radio manual, maintenance record booklet, Porsche Classic Technical Certificate, and extensive service records dating back to 1973. This is a rare opportunity to own a highly optioned 2.4L 911S in a desirable color combination, with its original driveline and comprehensive service records.
