In that year the car was sold in the USA and remained there until 2014, after which a Dutch collector brought the car to the Netherlands. This Porsche was completely restored in 2015-2018 by a specialist. During the restoration the original Sportomatic gearbox was changed by an original “dog leg” 5-speed gearbox. A great improvement, because with a Sportomatic you really don’t want to drive. It handles the opposite of what you expect from a sportive Porsche. And of course you don’t drive a Porsche to drive around like an old granny. The engine, also completely overhauled, is the original, so matching numbers, one.

Now, after having driven it 5268 kilometers, the owner thinks the time is right to downsize his extensive collection.
