The “wow” reaction of visitors is therefore entirely justified, because the car looks stunning from the front to the rear bumper and from the electrically operated sunroof to the bottom. It also took a lot of hours, craftsmanship and knowledge before the restoration was brought to a perfect end. That happened recently and after the necessary test kilometers, the car was ready to shine in our collection.
We are talking about a Porsche 911 that looks absolutely great due to its modest and original appearance. No chrome window frames, but black anodized frames make the typical design much sleeker. The beautiful original Fuchs rims of the right size and fitted with new Pirelli tires are wonderfully “full” in the slightly wider rear wings of this type. Over the years, Porsche has made countless smaller and larger changes at the 911 technique, but also at the bodywork. Often this is not at all noticeable at first sight, but it is exactly those changes that make a certain type of 911 extra interesting and therefore more popular. So this 911 is one of those.
The car was bought in 2012 by a well-known Porsche enthusiast in the Netherlands. The car came straight from America. A few years later when he had already partly started the restoration, a fellow townsman and also restorer / Porsche enthusiast heard from this completely matching number and color 911 Coupe, just a few blocks away. Because the owner didn’t really have time for it, the deal was quickly closed and the restoration was continued during 2018 -2022 as a “private collection project”. Then of course it takes a long time between normal business activities, but perhaps the result has only become even better because the number of hours worked in private time has not been counted. Everything had to be sublime down to the last detail. And they succeeded, we can tell you. The bodywork has become very sleek and all details are correct. Technical Porsche specialist Haverkamp from the Netherlands was asked to take care of the technique and to, among other things, check the engine completely and optimize it where necessary. The parts necessary for the USA emission requirements were also removed from the engine so that it could breathe freely again and the power increased again to European values. All invoices of the processed parts and work performed are, of course, present in addition to the original Heritage Certificate.
When the car was recently finished, a number of important decisions came along the way for the owner, including a new house, witch results in the decision to sell this stunning Porsche. This makes a unique opportunity for the enthusiast who has originality and quality high on his or her list, and who is looking for a 911 in which every kilometer can be enjoyed. This Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera Coupe will certainly offer you that.
