We are proud to present one of these rare narrow-body examples, which left Stuttgart in June 1989 and was destined for Japan, as one of only 56 examples sold of the speedster on the Japanese market. Only 24 of these 56 examples had the narrow bodywork. In addition to the rare specification with no turbo look, our car is attractively finished in the ever-popular Slate Grey Metallic with a black leather interior. Worldwide, only 54 of the total production of 1,943 Speedsters, were produced in Slate Grey. It is unknown exactly how many narrowbody speedsters were delivered in Slate Grey, but statistically there will be no more than 5.
The first owner sold the car for export in August 2015 to Ronny Pannhorst, who sold it to the second owner in Switzerland in March 2016. The second owner sold the car in 2022 to the third owner in Belgium.
The mileage history is documented by the service booklet, service invoices and export documents:
- 12/9/1989 – 63 km
- 12-06-1989 – 1,889km
- 15/10/2008 – 50,354 km
- 10/12/2010 – 54,934 km
