In 89 the Speedster was commercialized to rejuvenate the 911 and permit Porsche to sell the last G type production cars.
The car was designed to make a new driving experience with non such sensations unparalleled to the cabriolet.
At the time 90% of the Speedster were delivered in Turbolook version (1942 cars), compared to the NARROW bodied version weighting 80 kilograms less than the Turbolook, which make it indeed, a rare bird !!
The NARROW body speedster features a shortened windscreen, side windows and a twin-hump fiberglass rear deck.
This very rare car came out of the factory in 1989, only 161 LHD NARROW body Speedster code 911730 were produced for the world market including 10 RHD for the Australian market (Porsche AG source), it was built for the French market code C05 with the non catalyst 3,2L engine type 930/20 paired with the G50 five-speed manual transaxle so it produce 231 CH and was sold new by Porsche Strasbourg dealer and has been first registered in France in 1992.
On the original service book first page you will see the names of three owners, but the first one never ever got the chance to register the car neither got a title for the car, we have the copies of the two original titles of the two owners from 1992 and a Porsche dealer certificate of model year and first registration to support that.
The second and current owner took ownership in august 1995 at 8599 Km.(27 years ownership).
It came out of the factory in silver metallic code S7 with black leather upholstery, it’s equipped with a black soft top, 16 ‘’ Fuchs wheels, factory electric sport seats, tool kit roll, owner’s manual, Porsche certificate of authenticity, two keys, two emergency keys, three wheel locks keys, two alarm remotes, the original key card, the antenna key, stamped service manual, Speedster owner operating top supplement manual, appraisal and service receipts.

The car is equipped with a high quality Pionner HiFI system, the amplifier is hidden under the passenger foot rest, a pair of tweeter under the dash and loud speaker fitted using the original speaker grilles.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer flanked by a 260 Kmh speedometer correctly dated 6/89, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges.The six digit odometer shows 22835 km.
The 3.2L flat-six features Bosh fuel injection and was factory rated at 231 horsepower as a non catalyst Euro production engine (instead of 217 HP for the US market examples).

Power is sent to the rear wheels trough a G50 five-speed manual transaxle.
There is still factory cosmoline wax from the factory on the under pans, all the factory weldings are original to support than the Speedster never ever been in an accident. All sekurit glasses are original, the front lid and engine lid still have the Stuttgart factory production numbers N°6452, all factory identification labels and stickers are in place.
