The Boxster 981 mounts the 2.7-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine that delivers a power of 265cv. This is the last naturally aspirated 6-cylinder engine in the Boxster/Cayman saga, since in the current generation 718, both the normal version and the S version have 4-cylinder and turbocharged engines. For this reason, the 981 generation is the most attractive of all generations, not only aesthetically, but also mechanically.
