Interior
Inside the Porsche 991 Turbo S you will find leather, leather and more leather. Even the airbag module is finished with it. The almost uniform black interior makes a tidy and high-quality impression. Equal, because even the Sport Chrono clock and the rev counter have a black background. In terms of tint, the many carbon details are completely absorbed in the 911 Turbo S cockpit. The panels in the dashboard, doors and center console, among others, are made of very expensive carbon fiber. The SportDesign steering wheel is also very racy. The Porsche emblems in the headrests are nice to kiss, but it is mainly the back of your head that will come into contact with them.
Options & extras
The rest of the furniture is also impressive: the 18-way electrically operated sports seats can be heated. The seat on the driver’s side also has a memory function, should you have to give up the ideal seating position temporarily. The co-driver has the privilege of having 2 fold-out cup holders, directly above the glove compartment. Porsche Entry & Drive makes boarding more accessible than ever, while the Burmester High-End Surround Sound system and Light Design package ensure a pleasant vibe on board the Elfer. Furthermore, this 911 Turbo S Convertible is fully equipped: ParkAssist with sensors front + rear and a reversing camera, Cruise Control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation and Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS+) with LEDs and dynamic high beam. .
Technique & performance
We are not there yet, because Porsche also mounted a great range of options that are in line with the crushing performance that this Turbo S Cabriolet has. Think of Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and of course the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). When all 7 gears of the bloody fast PDK transmission have been completed, a top speed of 318 km/h can be achieved. You can also leave the better cornering to the Turbo S thanks to active rear-axle steering. The Akrapovic sports exhaust meanwhile blows an enthusiastic tune.
