Porsche records show that production of this 3.6-litre, turbocharged flat-six-powered 964-generation 911 Turbo commenced on 15 February 1993, with the car leaving the Stuttgart factory finished in Black Pearl. It was further specified with grey leather sports seats, a top-tinted windscreen, power sunroof, and a leather-covered, airbag-equipped steering wheel.
This Turbo 3.6 was delivered new via the official dealer Carrera Motors in Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium, where it was regularly maintained until 2005. It then moved to Germany before being registered in the Netherlands. Since being acquired by the current owner in December 2015, the car has been maintained by Porsche Centre Rotterdam. Accordingly, the accompanying service book has been repeatedly stamped to reflect the regular care this car has received. Prior to auction, it was also subject to Porsche’s famed 111-point vehicle health check, with the findings and condition photos available to view in this car’s history file.
With the odometer showing 175,696 kilometres at the time of cataloguing, this driver’s example could be just as at ease cruising on the Autobahn as it would be on its way to devouring altogether more fun, twisting roads.
