Well-Maintained, Immaculate Condition/Original Survivor, 1987 Porsche 928 S4.  This 1987 Porsche 928 S4 is registered in Colorado, USA and now shows 61k miles.

Power is provided by a 5.0-liter DOHC V8 paired with a five-speed dog-leg manual transaxle.  The car has had a Porsche 928 GTS (short shift kit) modification to enhance the 5-spd manual driving experience, and new leather for the seats (Porsche leather – German supplier).  The leather seats were not soft/slightly discolored with typical aged crack lines (no tears were present).  Replacement vs. dying was the best choice for this collector-quality car.  This 928 is otherwise 100% OEM from the factory.  Ceramic Pro was professionally applied in March 2025.

This 928 S4 is finished in MarineBlau (dark blue) Metallic over a Linen/Black interior and is equipped with a limited-slip differential, a sunroof, 16″ polished aluminum wheels, and Sport coil over Bilstein suspension in addition to power front seats, driver-seat 12-way adjustment and lumbar support settings, and R134a-based air conditioning. This 928 S4 is offered with service records, manufacturer’s literature, two factory keys (the mini flashlights work!), and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name (with “actual” miles listed).  A large file with detailed images is available upon request (Elferspot allows for a limited number of photos to be posted).

This first-year 928 S4 features pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a sunroof, a rear spoiler, and a rear window wiper.  The included Carfax report is 100% CLEAN – showing service history and no accidents whatsoever.

The 16″ reconditioned/polished aluminum wheels feature Porsche crest center caps and are mounted with new (2025) all-season performance tires. The car is equipped with front and rear stabilizer bars as well as vented disc brakes at each corner. This 928S4 has been very well maintained and has had several important/milestone services completed – see last 26 years of records.

The cabin features a Linen color scheme with power front seats and two rear bucket seats trimmed in linen leather. Amenities include 12-way seat adjustment and lumbar support settings for the driver as well as the factory Blaupunkt head unit and a factory Hi-Fi sound system.  The air conditioning system has been updated to utilize R134a refrigerant.  The original OEM black factory floor mats are in excellent condition.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 60,671k miles.

The 5.0-liter DOHC V8 features LH-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. The 5-spd manual is rated with a 0-60 of ~5.1 seconds and a top speed of 165MPH.

Decoding the OEM Porsche option sticker reveals the following information:
