Also known as Slantnose, Flatnose, and many other nicknames -the factory M505 option was an hommage to the 935 available through Porsche Sonderwunsch (and then Porsche Exclusive from 1986 on) and only chosen extremely rarely, resulting in no more than 25 Cabriolets built with the desirable 5 speed G50 gearbox available in 1989. Not that surprising when you realize that a Flachbau 930 Turbo ended up being nearly twice as expensive as a standard example, and a standard Turbo Cabriolet wasn’t a cheap car by any means back in the 80s.
Our example is a genuine, factory Turbo SE Flachbau originally delivered to California and comes freshly serviced after having benefited of a long list of new and fresh parts including all fluids and filters, clutch, brake lines, 4 Pirellis, Bilsteins, cat delete and exhaust, and many other fresh parts and adjustments making this the best car available on the market for a long time.
Showing just shy of 38.000km, this example is ready to be put away in any serious collection, or, as we like to do it, get driven whenever you’re in the mood to do so.
Of course a full list of the executed work, as well as history, pictures and videos can be sent in case of serious interest.
