And that’s exactly the kind of car we have here. Chassis #0107 was born as a slim 993 intended for this type of racing. Quite early in its life it got the look it has today. Something that was quite common at the time when it simply meant that you could have more chassis, more tires and yes…more simply. The car was used for racing in the GT class in its home in Hungary initially. Something that is documented today in newspaper clippings and stills from the time. Documents that really bring back memories. In 2020 the car was sold and then came to Sweden. Between 2022-2024 the car underwent renovation and updating to keep it ready and relevant for racing. The brake system was upgraded here with a control system from BOSCH Motorsport. The engine is based around a 3.6l 964 biturbo engine that delivers 463hp and 634nm. This is a modest mapping in a car that easily holds much more power. Both the chassis and drivetrain are built to handle more power.
Externally, the car is built in GT2 Evo2 specification with a carbon fiber splitter and air control in the front bumper. The side profile is dominated by the enormous fenders that are intended to house 13″ wide rims with center bolt. Mounted today are BBS magnesium rims shod with slicks. Behind hide 355mm brakes from Brembo and damping from Bilstein Motorsport. Open the driver’s door and you immediately realize the difference between a car that is prepared for track driving and a real race car. The door handle may be recognizable from other 993s, but after that it quickly becomes clear that everything you see and touch is there for a reason.
We are extremely proud to have the pleasure of offering this unique race car to the market. Ready to start the season!
