The car was regularly maintained and serviced by Porsche up to 1996 then by local marque specialists Autowerke who also undertook a full engine rebuild on the car in 1997 at 85280 miles. Since then the car has covered a mere 9,000 miles, with regular but limited use up to 2010 when the car was put into dry storage until now. Recently recommissioned, the car is now ready to go to a new owner, supplied with a full 12 month MOT, 4 brand new Continental tyres, completely overhauled brakes with new discs and pads, new brake lines and master cylinder. The car has also just received a fresh coat of Guards Red paint as the original paint had started to fade quite badly. Structurally the car is sound with good kidney bowls, no rot in the usual places and signs of any welding or past accident damage. The interior is completely original and is in fantastic condition other than the steering wheel which has started to fade (easily corrected). Originally supplied in Guards Red with sports seats finished in Burgundy pinstripe upholstery. Original purchase invoice present, along with a complete tool set and all original drivers manuals and service book. Overall an iconic car and a very rare find with this much history from a single owner.
