This 1968 Porsche 911 non restored surviver is a very rare interesting example that has been modified as a fast road car with cruising dna use over the years. The car is currently finished in red over a original bahama yellow base car. The paint shows significant patina around the car, including some peeled paint in areas and the remnants of old racing numbers ghosted on the doors and the front bonnet. This example was set up by the head of @Ricocustoms in netherland, so it drives spectacularly fast and gives you wings in every corner !Although this car has been modified for road use with a lot of new parts like new shocks, gasoline tank ,ingnition, tyres, wiring loom…etc.
fitting in the rear of the car is a 2.0-liter flat-6 that was thoroughly serviced by Porsche specialist Oetzel Mecatronic. The engine breathes through a pair of weber carburetors and an 3-2-1 ignition is fitted for better spark control. This engine is not the original unit to the car but instead a correct replacement from a 1968 911 and fitted with the original 4 gear Type 901 gearbox As the car weigths less than 850 kg , the 2.0-liter engine makes it feel remarkably quick, and the properly new set up suspension allows you to carry tremendous speed through corners with a big smille on your face!
These early sunroof Porsche 911 swb are special cars with the short wheelbase only in production until 1969. Regardless of whether or not you plan to take this car to the track or use it as a fast road car on the weekends, nothing compares to the nimble chassis, revvy small-displacement flat-6, and a sub 860 kg. curb weight from behind the wheel.
this car is a real unrestored survivor over the last 60 years with a very good base to turn in a race o bring it back to a original 911 swb with a guarante that the prices for this cars will be a real good investment and the prices will be growing the next few years.
the car is located in mallorca/spain and is currently registered in netherland.
