According to the factory Kardex on hand, this T5B coupe was completed on December 16, 1960, and shipped to Mahag Porsche in Munich. The original build specification included a Super Engine, Slate Gray Paintwork, Light Gray Vinyl Interior, Dunlop Tires, Two Armrests, an Anti-Glare Interior Mirror, One Headrest, Chrome Wheels, Travel Kit, Touch-up Paint and Two Speakers. It was sold new to H. Keilholz, a resident of Hamburg, Germany. Ten years later (1971), the car was registered in California and has remained here in the hands of just three owners ever since.
