This 964 Carrera 2 Coupe Backdate (Tiptronic) is a great opportunity to acquire one of our Julià Backdating projects, without having to wait the waiting time we normally have for this type of projects.

The Backdating projects we have been working on since 2004 are always made to order, so their owners must wait more than a year to be able to enjoy them. Now, exclusively, we have a unit already finished and ready to be delivered. One of the rarities of this model is that the client who commissioned the project asked us for the car to have an automatic gearbox. We know that a large number of people interested in these projects are looking for manual gearboxes, but there is a small number who are looking only for automatic gearboxes and find that there are no Backdate units with Tiptronic gearboxes available on the market. So we are faced with a very attractive rarity.

Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Backdating „Stone Grey“ built on the basis of a 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Coupé Tiptronic.

Our 911 Backdating are all made to order, so this is a great opportunity to acquire one of our already completed projects, without having to wait the more than 14 months it takes to carry out a project like this one. For this project, its owner chose the 964 because they offer the best compromise between pure sensations and modernity.

Its body is ST type, due to its wider wheel arches and aesthetically it has a Sport-type finish with a front spoiler. For the exterior color, Porsche’s Stone Grey color has been chosen, a color that perfectly matches the brown leather / braided leather of the interior and the Recaro-type seats of the time. In contrast, we find the „Black Pack“, that is, the joints, moldings and exterior details in black, which give an even sportier look to this unit.

At the time of starting this project, three years ago, the car had 132.523km. The engine was completely restored to original specifications and at the request of its owner, the odometer was reset to 0 once the project was completed. Today, the car has 11.558km.

For the transmission, this 964 comes with the Tiptronic gearbox, which is an added attraction for those specifically looking for this type of gearbox, since it is very rare to find projects of this type with automatic gearboxes.
