This car benefits from a slight aesthetic and sound improvement: the car did not originally have the option of central lock rims, so very beautiful BBS rims of equal quality were fitted. The exhaust silencer has been changed, eliminating the main flaw of the 997 Turbo S, ie not having a very captivating sound. These are the only changes and it is therefore not a car prepared for the racetrack. We do not have the original parts but we can take care of finding them for a fee.
The first 911 Turbo was presented in 1974, at the Paris Motor Show. From then on, direct gasoline injection improved the power, torque and responsiveness of the engine, while reducing fuel consumption. The Porsche 997 Turbo S was presented to the public in 2010, and therefore benefited from the facelift of the 997 generation. Equipped with the PDK gearbox, the gear change time is reduced and efficiency improved, thanks to the 7th gear. The new valve control and the adapted engine control unit increase the power to 530 hp and the torque to 700 Nm.
Equipped as standard with the Sport Chrono Turbo package with dynamic suspension, adaptive sports seats, cruise control or the BOSE sound system, the 997 Turbo S is the ultimate evolution of the 997 range among the models suitable for everyday use. You can also admire the yellow calipers of the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake. The 3,800 cc 6-cylinder engine propels the car’s four passengers to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph.
