Porsche 997.2 Carrera GTS

Performance and options.
The facelift 997.2 was the last generations with atmospheric boxer engine and hydraulic power steering. For some, more than enough reasons to stick with the 997 generation. The distinctive engine and exhaust sound of the atmospheric boxer engine is truly amazing and the design of the 997.2 is iconic and timeless.

In this case, the standard richly equipped GTS version comes with wonderful comfort options such as, full leather interior, electric sunroof, BOSe sound system, vruise control, PDK, seat heating and Xenon Plus lighting.

Technology and performance.
The GTS model has 63 more horsepower than the base Carrera. It gets this from a 6-cylinder boxer engine that has been enlarged to 3.8 liters and whose rated speed has been increased to 7300 rpm (base 6500). Maximum torque of 420 Newton meters is already reached at 4200 rpm, whereas in the base Carrera it is only 200 rpm later. This means more thrust „from below.“

The GTS has 408 hp instead of 385 hp. With that, this 997 breaks the magic 300 km/h limit, with a top speed of 302 km/h. For a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h, the GTS needs only 4.6 seconds.

Provenance and history.
The car was originally delivered by Porsche Stuttgart. The car has had all required maintenance. The work performed is noted in the complete service booklet. We know this car well as we have serviced it since 2022 (last 3 oh servicing).
