2002 PORSCHE 911 (996) TURBO for sale!

This particular 911 Turbo is a fairly rare specimen thanks to its configuration and condition; there are relatively few black 996 Turbos for sale in Europe. The Turbo is 6 centimeters wider than the „regular 996,“ it features bi-xenon lighting and has a fixed rear spoiler. Shifting is done with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. Walking around the car, the 18-inch alloy wheels immediately catch the eye. This set was specially designed for the 996 Turbo, making the appearance of this Porsche completely original. The parking sensors at the rear make it easier to park the Porsche. So equipped with all conveniences!

Das Fahrzeug im Detail

Equipment
The black, three-spoke sports steering wheel sits nicely in the hand and provides good feedback on what the 911’s front wheels are doing. This better engages you as a driver and contributes to the ultimate sports car experience. The power-adjustable and heatable sport seats keep you firmly planted during a sporty driving style, while also providing comfort during a somewhat longer drive. For even more comfort, the cruise control provides. Both the seats and steering wheel are upholstered in black leather, as are the door panels. The electric sunroof adds more light to the interior, while the 911 has tinted and heat-reflective glass in the rear so it doesn’t get too hot. If the temperature does rise, this black Turbo has air conditioning. The original radio is present, including Bose sound system.

Technique
Its handling is unmatched thanks to permanent all-wheel drive, while the large turbo on the six-cylinder ensures that this is a seriously fast car. Powered by a 3.6 liter six-cylinder with 420HP, this 911 sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. It only stops accelerating at a top speed of 305 km/h. Overall, this type of 911 has outstanding grip and does not bite back like an old 911 does. But, of course, it is still a Porsche. That makes this black-on-black specimen handle nicely and position itself well thanks to the refined sports suspension.

Further
The car is in relative new condition. The interior is also in beautiful condition, partly because the Porsche has driven only 112,460 kilometers. The 996 has been serviced at various Porsche dealers and renowned specialists and is offered including an inspection report by Porsche specialist Rob Goossen. Almost the complete history is known, much documentation is present. Also the white sticker with all codes are still with this Turbo.

The story of the 911 Turbo began in 1974, when Porsche engineers mounted a turbocharged engine in the rear of a G model and named it the ‚930. The car was widened and given a huge rear spoiler, equipped with an air grille. This spoiler allows the engine to be cooled while driving, by carrying the air sliding over the 911 into the engine bay. With 275HP at the rear wheels and hardly any safety systems, the first Turbo was a very challenging car that gave many a driver a dent in their ego. Not for nothing was it called the widow maker… It is a true, pure sports car, which can only be driven at the limit by experienced drivers. Following the 930, the 964 and the 993, Porsche came out with the 996 in 1998. This model can be recognized mainly by its anomalous lights. The 996 is the only generation of 911 that does not have round headlights. In 2000, it was time for the most powerful version: the Turbo.
