Porsche struck on a winning combination in 2016, answering calls for a wingless road car breathed on by the firm’s motorsport division; perhaps the 911 R’s only failing was its limited availability. That changed in 2017 with the launch of the 991.2-generation 911 GT3 Touring, which paired a screaming 4-litre flat-six engine with a six-speed manual transmission.
Now in its second generation, the 911 GT3 with Touring Package combines the same incredible engine with double wishbone front suspension inspired by the firm’s RSR racer. The result is a front axle twice as stiff as that in the outgoing model, all while retaining the same ride quality.
The example offered was delivered to the consigning seller on 19 November 2022, finished in GT Silver Metallic over an Exclusive Manufaktur two-tone tan leather and houndstooth interior with microfibre roof lining and full bucket seats, complemented by Satin Neodyme alloy wheels behind which sit high-gloss Black brake callipers. In addition to the Touring Package, the car was specified with an extended range fuel tank, front axle-lift system, Chrono Package, carbon fibre interior trim and sill guards, and LED-Matrix headlamps with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus.
With just 275 kilometres on the odometer at the time of cataloguing, this 911 GT3 Touring Package is presented in as-new, showroom condition.
