An extremely fine example of the rare 911 Targa in the 964 generation is offered here.
The 964 generation was the last generation Porsche made in the classic targa configuration, which was shown for the first time in 1967. The subsequent generations 993, 996 and 997 all had „only“ a glass roof as a targa and only with the 991 model in 2014 did a “ real“ targa on the program.
The current car is from the first year of production, when only 322 euro spec 964 targas were produced and in total only 3,786 964 targas were produced in 1989, the vast majority of these are with four-wheel drive and tiptronic, since these two options became possible on the 964 generation. However, the car in question is the real Carrera 2 version with manual transmission.
It was delivered from new in Finland, which had the car right up until 2014. The car is completely original and with speedometer warranty has only driven 57,000 km and comes with a full stamped service book, which is a rare sight for a more than 30-year-old car.
It appears in Guards red with black artificial leather/fabric interior. Here is a unique opportunity to acquire a classic air-cooled 911, which can be a great pleasure both in terms of driving and investment.
