After the first service was carried out on 15.06.2021 at 4.521 km at Porsche Zentrum Bad Hamborg/Oberursel, the car was then serviced again on 15.06.2022 at Porsche Zentrum Mannheim at 5.793 km. A ‘111 Point Check’ inspection was also performed at this stage and Porsche Extended Warranty was activated for two additional years.
The car now sits at roughly 8.062 km and has been imported to Italy and will come with PPF applied to the front end, ‘cargraphic’ exhaust-valve control remote system, toolkit as well as owner’s manuals and service books.
Since the Boxster’s unveiling in 1996, it has always been appreciated as a great driving car with fantastic chassis balance but, the general consensus was that it needed more power. Through the first two generations, Porsche occasionally offered versions with slight power bumps or weight saving measures but never gave the car enough power to approach the performance of its contemporary 911. That all changed in 2015 with the debut of the second generation Boxster Spyder. Along with its hardtop counterpart the Cayman GT4, the Spyder was fitted with a 3.8-Liter Flat-6 out of the Carrera S and produced 375 Horsepower. The GT4 and Spyder were such big successes, when the next generation-the 718 Spyder-came out in 2019, Porsche took the cars to the next level. Utilizing a bespoke 4.0-Liter Flat-6, the Boxster produces 414 horsepower and can rev to 8,000 RPM. In addition, special bodywork was developed to improve both cooling and downforce at speed and the front suspension and brakes from the GT3 were fitted. The car rides on a set of active dampers and sits 3cm lower than a standard 718. The 718 Spyder made up for all the years of Porsche not building powerful enough Boxsters and even went a step beyond to become a world class performance car. The 718 Spyder is an absolute joy to drive and is destined to be considered a modern classic.
