Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 Background and Additional Details:
Porsche released their all conquering 964 Turbo 3.6 in January, 1993 with orders immediately surpassing production capability and the entire production run being sold out essentially before the first examples had been delivered to eagerly awaiting clientele.

The all new new Turbo featured a final variation of the 3.6 liter M64 engine which now produced 360bhp at 5,500rpm. The 3.6 liter powered Turbo was produced only for the 1993/1994 model year, with fewer than 1,500 of them produced in total, making it one of the rarest and most sought after Porsches produced since the 959. For the North American Market, only 288 examples were completed, all of which were sold before deliveries even began.

This particular Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 was ordered new massively optioned in the one-of-one, Porsche Exclusiv Special Order / Special Wish Exterior Color Zermatt Silver-Metallic.  The original owner took direct delivery at the Porsche Factory under the “Tourist-Delivery” program.  The car was also fitted with the extremely rare “P17” Special Sport Suspension option code, which included, stiffer springs, lowered ride-height and a special ratio, limited slip differential.

Upon the completion of his European holiday, the car was shipped by Porsche back to his home in Canada.  He retained his prized Porsche until March 2000, when it was purchased by Montreal Canadiens & Colorado Avalanche NHL hockey player, Patrice Brisebois.  At the time of the sale, total mileage was 27,179 kilometers.  Brisebois later sold it in 2002 to Mr. Villesneuve who bought the car through Ferrari Quebec.  Total mileage at the time of the sale was 30,882 kilometers.

Mr Villesneuve kept the car for over a decade when it was purchased in 2013 by a private German Museum Collection where it would remain until our purchase and import earlier this year.  At the time of the sale in 2013, the car had covered 76,755 Kilometers / 47,693 Miles.

The car was extremely well cared for including the fitting by Porsche of a Bilstein Complete Adjustable Suspension System in 2014.  Over the next seven years, the owner spent $35,000 on services and maintenance prior to the sale of the vehicle to our company.
