he designation ‘E’ came from the German for injection: Einspritzung. This particular car has clearly been cherished by its past owners (of which there are only 5) not only by the fantastic, rust free condition the car is still in but also backed up by the huge history file, an A4 binder over two inches thick, detailing the cars life right back to its very early services in 1975. The car has been used and enjoyed as intended over the years, with the current mileage at 154,000. A testament to Porsche reliability, it has also completed several European tours, local rallies and won awards in concours events as recently as 2014. The engine and gearbox were last rebuilt in 2002 at 135,000 miles, at the same time the car received a bare metal repaint by Paint Technik. Since then the car has received regular servicing and ongoing maintenance work by marque specialists Two Plus Two Ltd in the West Midlands. The car drives superbly, feeling very sharp for a 48 year old 911. Some time and effort has clearly been put in to get the car to this very usable and enjoyable level. Still running the original 15″ Fuchs with matching Goodyear tyres. Supplied with its original owners manual, complete tool kit, 2 keys and huge history folder. Overall a very tidy example with no evidence of any rust showing anywhere at all. Any inspection is most welcome and we are happy to assist with delivery worldwide.
